Straight North is looking for an entry-level Content Marketing Specialist to join the team at our office in Downers Grove, IL. This individual will be responsible for creating and executing link building strategies for clients across a variety of industries.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify publisher websites for link building opportunities
- Conceptualize topics for guest blog posts and content assets
- Write and send customized, professional outreach communication to publishers
- Continually test new outreach communication/methods
- Successfully land published links for our clients
- Build and grow relationships with publishers
- Communicate client progress with internal stakeholders
- Stay current with link building trends and Google algorithm changes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or journalism preferred
- SEO or digital marketing experience is a plus
- Self-motivated with excellent writing, communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
